To the woman who became my neighbor one day;
To the woman who made me pay just to get her name;
To the woman who made me pick bunch of trash each day;
To the woman who almost never laid her eyes at me.

To the woman I always stalk from the other wall;
To the woman I have said “I love you” from behind;
To the woman who never knew my secret adoration;
To the woman who perhaps only recognized me by voice.

To the woman who was my first kiss back on that kitchen;
To the woman who was surprised to see me kiss her then;
To the woman who initially felt bad about the kissing;
To the woman who understood it and was so forgiving.

To the woman I have courted since I was young;
To the woman who consistently turned my love down;
To the woman who said not to expect her to love back;
To the woman who gulped her words by giving me a chance.

To the woman who saw me through at my worst and my best;
To the woman who broke up with me for so many times;
To the woman from whom I beg for chance over and over;
To the woman who finally loved me after mulling over.

To the woman I have once been strictly forbidden to see;
To the woman who made my father throw fist blows at me;
To the woman from whose love I have drawn all my strengths;
To the woman who made me know there was Romeo and Juliet.

To the woman who made me learn writing at a different stroke;
To the woman who have learned to read my letters at the mirror;
To the woman who was surprised at what I have done for her;
To the woman who was so appreciative of the little things I do.

To the woman who has made me travel mile after mile;
To the woman I have surprised to see a countless times;
To the woman who said she’s sending me something at my door;
To the woman who stood there saying she’s my surprise.

To the woman who made me learn how to kiss a girl;
To the woman from whose care you will really fall for;
To the woman who have come to love the ones I love;
To the woman whose love for me is really unparalleled.

To the woman who have come to embrace me for who I am;
To the woman who have learned to cry and laugh with me;
To the woman who made me realize how great it is to love;
To the woman who I fought my love for and fought for mine.

To the woman who stood by me when I flunk the bar exams;
To the woman who yelled about getting up and dusting off;
To the woman in whose words I find courage and comfort;
To the woman who helped me discover my truest worth.

To the woman I have vowed to spend the rest of my life with;
To the woman who made me the happiest man on earth on that day;
To the woman who made me realize how sweet it is to wait;
To the woman who made me find how it feels to be whole.

To the woman who never grew tired of understanding me;
To the woman who wakes up at midnight for my glass of milk;
To the woman who spoils me in ways other men would envy;
To the woman who puts down pride before anger consumes her.

To the woman who have taught me where to find my confidence;
To the woman I am drawing strength from as I continue to dream;
To the woman who takes the risks of life as long as she’s with me;
To the woman who have always taken stand for and in my defense.

To the woman who is so beautiful in every way;
To the woman in whose love I have found my home;
To the woman for whom I am dedicating this Valentine poem;
To the woman, my woman, my friend, my love, my Chien.
